Most Common Error Codes (FFAD / FGAC Series & Similar Models)

• P1: Bucket full or bucket not properly installed – empty the water tank; ensure bucket is correctly seated and the float switch moves freely.
• AS / AS (flashing): Auto Shut-off – bucket full; empty and reinstall bucket.
• EC / E C: Coil temperature sensor or evaporator coil issue – usually ice buildup; run in Fan Only mode to defrost; check for restricted airflow.
• EH / E H: Humidity sensor fault – unplug unit for 10–30 minutes to reset; if persists, sensor may require service.
• E1 / E2: Temperature sensor fault – reset by unplugging; ensure unit is in proper temperature range (41°F–89°F typical).
• EP / E P: Pump error (pump models) – check drain hose for kinks/clogs; verify pump is connected properly; clean pump outlet.

Common Issues & Fixes (2023–2025 Models)

• Not collecting water / low water removal: Room humidity below set point; dirty filter; low room temperature (<41°F without low-temp models); clean filter and ensure good airflow.
• Freezing / ice on coils: Use Fan Only mode to defrost; common in cooler rooms; low-temp models perform better below 41°F.
• Unit won't start or stops frequently: Check bucket full switch/float; ensure proper power supply; verify bucket is empty and seated correctly.
• Pump not draining (pump models): Inspect hose for blockages; ensure continuous drain hose is lower than unit or properly connected.
• Noisy / vibrating operation: Level the unit using adjustable feet; place on stable surface; clean fan and coils if dusty.

General Maintenance Tips

• Clean air filter: Every 2 weeks – remove, wash with mild soap and water, air dry completely before reinstalling.
• Bucket cleaning: Empty regularly; wash with mild detergent; use algaecide tablet to prevent mold and odors.
• Continuous drain setup: Attach garden hose securely; ensure drain point is lower than unit or use pump-equipped model for upward draining.
• Storage: Drain completely, clean filter and bucket, store upright in dry location.
