Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape.
  2. Ensure unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if transported on its side.
  3. Place unit on a level floor in area with proper air circulation (minimum 12-18 inches clearance on all sides).
  4. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
  5. Install casters by pressing into bottom corners until they click into place.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Ensure power outlet is properly grounded.

First-Time Setup

Plug into grounded 115V outlet; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Check filter: Ensure washable filter is properly installed behind front grille.
  2. Insert bucket: Slide water bucket completely into unit until it clicks.
  3. Power on: Press POWER button; unit will start in last used mode.
  4. Set humidity: Use UP/DOWN buttons to set desired humidity level (45-50% recommended).
  5. Select mode: Choose between Normal, Turbo, or Continuous operation.

CAUTION! Handle with care when moving; use two people if necessary. Do not tilt with full water bucket.

  5. Timer Function: Set unit to turn on/off after 1-24 hours.

Tip: Use Turbo mode initially in very damp areas, then switch to Normal mode for maintenance.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Water Bucket: Empty when full or when FULL light illuminates. Clean monthly with mild detergent.
  2. Air Filter: Clean every 2-3 weeks or when FILTER light illuminates. Rinse under warm water, air dry completely before reinstalling.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Coils: Vacuum condenser coils every 3-6 months to remove dust.
  5. Drain Hose: For continuous drain, check hose monthly for clogs or kinks.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before cleaning. Never immerse in water or use harsh chemicals.

Water Drainage Options

Two methods for water removal: manual bucket or continuous drain.

Manual Bucket Drainage:

  1. Unit automatically shuts off when bucket is full (FULL light illuminates).
  2. Pull bucket straight out using handle.
  3. Carry to sink or drain; pour out water.
  4. Replace bucket securely until it clicks.
  5. Unit resumes operation automatically.

Continuous Drainage:

  1. Remove bucket from unit.
  2. Attach standard garden hose (¾" diameter) to drain outlet.
  3. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump.
  4. Ensure hose has downward slope without kinks.
  5. Unit will drain continuously without bucket.

Care & Storage

Proper storage extends unit life and maintains performance.

  1. End of Season Storage:
    • Unplug unit and empty water bucket completely.
    • Clean bucket and filter thoroughly; allow to dry completely.
    • Run unit in Fan Only mode for 24 hours to dry internal components.
    • Coil power cord and secure with twist tie.
    • Store in upright position in dry, covered area.
  2. Pre-Season Preparation:
    • Inspect unit for damage before use.
    • Ensure filter is clean and properly installed.
    • Check that bucket is securely in place.
    • Plug into grounded outlet and test operation.
