Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor surface.

  1. Choose location: Place in center of room or area with high humidity, away from walls and furniture for optimal airflow.
  2. Ensure clearance: Maintain at least 12 inches of space on all sides, especially around air intake and exhaust grilles.
  3. Check flooring: Place on a moisture-resistant surface. Do not place on carpet unless protected by a moisture barrier.
  4. Connect to power: Plug directly into a grounded 115V outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Condenser may frost. Ensure bucket is properly seated before operation.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Install bucket: Ensure collection bucket is fully inserted and clicks into place.
  2. Set humidity level: Press HUMIDITY SET button to select desired level (35% to 85% RH).
  3. Select fan speed: Press FAN button to choose Low or High speed.

Operation Modes

Select mode based on your dehumidification needs.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit monitors room humidity and turns on/off to maintain your set level. Most energy-efficient for general use.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs compressor and fan continuously until bucket is full or manually turned off. Use for rapid moisture removal.
  3. Dry Closet Mode: Lower fan speed and cycle settings optimized for small, enclosed areas. Place unit inside closet or small room.
  4. Fan Only Mode: Circulates air without dehumidifying. Press MODE until fan icon appears without water droplet.

Tip: For normal room conditions, start in Auto Mode with humidity set to 50%.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Empty Bucket: When full, unit will shut off and indicator light will illuminate. Remove bucket by lifting handle, pour water out, and replace securely.
  2. Clean Air Filter: Every 2-4 weeks, remove filter from front grille, rinse with lukewarm water, let dry completely, and reinstall. Press FILTER RESET button.
  3. Clean Exterior: Unplug unit. Wipe cabinet with soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  4. End-of-Season Cleaning: Before storage, run unit in Fan Only mode for 24 hours to dry internal components. Clean bucket and filter thoroughly.

CAUTION! Never operate without air filter. Do not immerse unit in water. Always unplug before cleaning.

Storage Instructions

If not using for extended period, prepare unit for storage.

  1. Unplug power cord and wrap around rear storage hooks.
  2. Empty and clean bucket thoroughly. Allow to air dry.
  3. Clean air filter and let dry completely before reinstalling.
  4. Store unit upright in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  5. Cover with a cloth or plastic bag to prevent dust accumulation.

Note: Do not store on its side or upside down. Internal components may retain moisture.
