Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level surface in area to be dehumidified.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from unit.
  2. Ensure at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  3. Place on level floor; unit must be upright for proper operation.
  4. Install casters if not pre-installed (follow included instructions).
  5. Check that water bucket is properly seated in its compartment.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Ensure proper ventilation around unit.

First-Time Setup

Plug into grounded 115V outlet; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Power on unit: Press POWER button on control panel.
  2. Set desired humidity: Use UP/DOWN buttons to select humidity level (recommended 45-50% for most homes).
  3. Select fan speed: Choose HIGH or LOW fan setting.
  4. For continuous drainage: Connect garden hose to drain port (see Section 7).

Tip: Ensure hose has continuous downward slope to prevent water backup.

Operation Modes

Multiple operating modes for different needs.

  1. Normal Mode: Set desired humidity; unit runs until humidity reaches set point.
  2. Continuous Mode: Set humidity to "CONT" for continuous operation regardless of humidity level.
  3. Auto Restart: After power interruption, unit resumes previous settings automatically.
  4. Defrost Mode: Automatically activates when coil temperature drops below 41°F; compressor cycles off while fan continues.
  5. Timer Mode: Set unit to turn on/off at specific times (up to 24 hours).

WARNING! Do not operate below 41°F. Empty bucket before moving unit.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Clean air filter every 250 hours or when filter light illuminates:
    • Remove filter from front grille
    • Wash with warm, soapy water
    • Rinse thoroughly and air dry completely
    • Reinstall and press FILTER RESET button
