Installation & Placement

  4. Clean bucket: Monthly, clean bucket with mild solution to prevent mold/mildew.
  5. Off-season storage: Empty completely, clean filter and bucket, store in dry location.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before cleaning. Never immerse unit in water.

Draining Options

Bucket Drainage: Standard method; empty when full indicator lights. Continuous Drainage: For unattended operation using drain hose.

Continuous Drain Setup:

  1. Turn off and unplug unit.
  2. Remove bucket and locate drain port on back of unit.
  3. Insert drain hose (not included) into port; secure with hose clamp.
  4. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump.
  5. Replace bucket; unit will now drain continuously.

Note: Unit must be level and hose must have downward slope for proper drainage.
