Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Remove all packaging materials and tape from unit.
  2. Position unit on a flat, level surface with at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  3. Ensure the unit is placed away from walls, furniture, and curtains that could block air intake or exhaust.
  4. Check that the water tank is properly seated and the filter is clean before first use.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C) unless specified for low temp mode. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

First-Time Setup

Plug into grounded electrical outlet; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Initial power: Plug into 115V AC outlet; unit will beep and display current room humidity.
  2. Set desired humidity: Press HUMIDITY button to set target humidity (35%-85%).
  3. Select fan speed: Choose between HIGH and LOW fan settings for different noise/performance levels.
  4. Set timer (optional): Use TIMER button to program automatic on/off cycles.
  5. For continuous drainage: Attach 5/8" garden hose to drain port and route to floor drain or sink.

CAUTION! Always use a grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords. Ensure water tank is properly installed before operation.

Water Removal & Drainage

Two drainage options: Manual bucket emptying or continuous hose drainage.

  1. Bucket method: When FULL indicator lights, unit shuts off. Remove bucket by lifting handle, empty water, replace securely.
  2. Continuous drainage: Connect standard 5/8" garden hose to drain port. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure downward slope for proper drainage.
  3. Drainage rate: Approximately 1.6 gallons collected every 2-3 hours under typical conditions.
  4. Bucket features: Carrying handle, splash guard, easy-grip design, transparent for water level viewing.

WARNING! Do not move unit with full water tank. Always turn off and unplug before emptying tank. Ensure hose connections are secure to prevent leaks.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Air Filter: Clean every 2-4 weeks or when FILTER light illuminates. Remove filter, wash with warm water and mild detergent, dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Water Tank: Empty and clean monthly with mild detergent to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or chemicals.
  4. Coils: Vacuum condenser coils every 3-6 months to remove dust buildup.
  5. End-of-season storage: Empty tank completely, clean filter and tank, allow to dry for 24 hours, cover and store in upright position.

CAUTION! Always unplug unit before cleaning. Never immerse unit in water. Do not operate without filter installed.
