Maintenance & Cleaning

Water Removal Options

Two methods for water removal: manual tank emptying or continuous drainage.

  1. Manual emptying: Unit automatically shuts off when tank is full. Remove tank, carry to drain, empty, and replace.
  2. Continuous drainage: Connect 5/8" ID hose to drain port (hose not included). Ensure hose runs downward to drain.

CAUTION! When using continuous drain, ensure hose is properly secured and free of kinks. Unit must be level for proper drainage.

Care & Storage

Proper storage extends unit life.

  1. For seasonal storage: Clean unit thoroughly, empty and dry water tank completely.
  2. Coil storage: Run in FAN ONLY mode for 30 minutes to dry internal components.
  3. Storage location: Store upright in dry, protected area. Cover to prevent dust accumulation.
