Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before installation and operation.

  1. Plug into a grounded 115V AC, 60Hz outlet only. Do not use extension cords.
  2. Ensure unit is placed on a level, stable surface away from heat sources.
  3. Do not operate with damaged cord or plug. Disconnect power before servicing.
  4. Do not block air intake or exhaust grilles. Maintain 12 inches of clearance.
  5. Empty water bucket regularly and handle with care to avoid spills.

WARNING! Risk of electric shock. Do not immerse unit in water or use in wet conditions. Keep children away from controls.

Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Allow unit to stand upright for 24 hours if transported on its side.

  1. Choose location: Place in center of room for best air circulation, away from walls and furniture.
  2. Level surface: Ensure unit is level to prevent water leakage.
  3. Connect drain hose (optional): Attach ½" garden hose to drain port for continuous drainage.
  4. Plug in: Connect to dedicated 115V outlet. The control panel will illuminate.

CAUTION! Do not install in areas below 41°F (5°C) to prevent coil freezing.

Operation Guide

For optimal performance, close windows and doors in the room being dehumidified.

  1. Press POWER to turn unit on.
  2. Set desired humidity using HUMIDITY SET buttons.
  3. Select fan speed (High recommended for initial moisture removal).
  4. Unit will run until set humidity is reached, then cycle on/off automatically.
  5. For continuous operation, set humidity to lowest setting (35%).
  6. Use TIMER to program daily operation schedule.
  7. Empty bucket when FULL indicator lights and unit shuts off.

Tip: For maximum efficiency, keep room temperature above 65°F (18°C).

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Unplug unit before any maintenance.
  2. Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks. Remove filter, wash with warm water and mild detergent, dry completely before reinstalling.
  3. Water Bucket: Empty and clean monthly with mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Exterior: Wipe with damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  5. Grilles and Coils: Vacuum dust buildup every 3 months.
  6. End of Season: Drain all water, clean thoroughly, and store properly.

CAUTION! Never operate without air filter. Do not use harsh chemicals on plastic components.

Storage Instructions

Prepare unit for extended non-use (e.g., winter months).

  1. Unplug unit and empty water bucket completely.
  2. Clean filter, bucket, and exterior as described in Maintenance section.
  3. Coil dry run: Run unit in fan-only mode for 24 hours to dry internal components.
  4. Store in upright position in dry, covered area.
  5. Cover unit to prevent dust accumulation.

Note: For best results, store at room temperature. Avoid extreme cold or damp locations.
