Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Clear area: Ensure at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Position near drain: If using continuous drain, place within 5 feet of floor drain or sink.
  3. Check level: Unit must be level for bucket to seat properly and for efficient operation.
  4. Plug into dedicated outlet: Use 115V, 60Hz grounded outlet only. Do not use extension cord.

WARNING! Do not place in areas below 41°F (5°C) to prevent coil freezing. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

First-Time Setup

Plug in unit; control panel will illuminate.

  1. Install bucket: Ensure water collection bucket is properly seated and locked in place.
  2. Set humidity: Press HUMIDITY button to select desired level (40-50% recommended for comfort).

Maintenance & Cleaning

  5. End-of-season storage: Empty all water, clean filter and bucket, wrap cord, cover unit, store upright in dry location.

WARNING! Never operate without filter installed. Do not immerse unit in water.

Draining Options

Bucket Drainage: Standard method, empty when FULL light illuminates (approximately every 8-12 hours at maximum capacity).

Continuous Drainage: Connect standard garden hose (not included) to drain port at back of unit. Ensure hose runs downward to floor drain or sink. Unit must be level or slightly tilted toward drain port.

CAUTION! For continuous drain, check hose regularly for kinks or blockages. Ensure drain location can handle water volume.

Safety Features

Full-Bucket Shut-off: Automatically stops operation when bucket is full, POWER light flashes. Auto-Restart: After power interruption, resumes previous settings when power returns. Tip-Over Switch: Stops operation if unit is knocked over. Overload Protection: Motor protection against electrical overload.
