Installation & Placement

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean air filter: Remove and wash filter every 2 weeks or when FILTER CHECK light illuminates.
  2. Empty water bucket: Empty when full or when BUCKET FULL light turns on.
  3. Clean exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. Check drain hose: Ensure continuous drain hose is clear of obstructions.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before cleaning. Do not immerse in water.

Draining Options

Bucket Drain: Manual emptying of 1.8-gallon bucket. Continuous Drain: Connect 5/8" ID hose to drain port for unattended operation.

Continuous Drain Setup:

  1. Place unit near floor drain or sink.
  2. Remove drain port cover from back of unit.
  3. Connect hose (not included) to drain port.
  4. Route hose to drain location, ensuring downward slope.
  5. Bucket will not fill during continuous drain operation.

Care & Storage

For long-term storage:

  1. Unplug unit and empty water bucket completely.
  2. Clean air filter and let dry completely.
  3. Run unit in Fan Only mode for 30 minutes to dry internal components.
  4. Coil drain hose and store with unit in upright position.
  5. Store in cool, dry place.
