Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Position the unit: Allow at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Install the bucket: Slide the water collection bucket into place until it clicks.
  3. Check the filter: Ensure the washable air filter is properly installed behind the front grille.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 115V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set the desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button and use +/- to set a level between 35% and 85%.
  2. Select fan speed: Press FAN to choose between Normal and Turbo (high) speed.
  3. Set the timer (optional): Press TIMER to program automatic start/stop times.
  4. For continuous drainage: Connect a standard garden hose (¾") to the drain port at the back.

Connecting Drain Hose

For continuous operation, use the drain port to connect a hose.

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Remove the bucket and locate the drain port on the back.
  3. Insert the adapter (included) into the port.
  4. Connect a standard ¾" garden hose (not included) to the adapter.
  5. Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump.
  6. Ensure the hose has a downward slope with no kinks.

Tip: When using continuous drain, the bucket full alert and auto-shutoff are disabled.

Operation

Designed for easy, automatic operation.

  1. Power On: Press POWER. The unit will start in the last used settings.
  2. Bucket Monitoring: The BUCKET FULL light will illuminate when the 16-pint bucket is full. The unit will automatically shut off. Empty the bucket and reinsert to resume.
  3. Turbo Mode: Press FAN to select TURBO for faster dehumidification in very damp conditions.
  4. Timer: Press TIMER, then use +/- to set hours (1-24) for delayed start or auto-off.
  5. Automatic Defrost: In cold conditions, the unit will automatically cycle into defrost mode to prevent coil icing.

WARNING! Always turn off and unplug before moving, emptying the bucket, or performing maintenance.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

Clean the Air Filter: Every 2-4 weeks, or when the FILTER alert light is on.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Remove the front grille by pulling from the bottom.
  3. Take out the foam filter.
  4. Vacuum or rinse under lukewarm water. Let air dry completely before reinstalling.
  5. Press and hold the FILTER button for 3 seconds to reset the alert.

Clean the Bucket: Monthly, wash with mild detergent and water to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before any cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not use the dehumidifier in dusty or greasy environments without frequent filter cleaning.
