Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the electronic control panel on top of the unit.

Control Panel: POWER button, HUMIDITY +/- buttons, FAN SPEED button, TIMER button, FILTER ALERT indicator, BUCKET FULL indicator.

Humidity Control: Set target humidity from 35% to 85% in 5% increments. Fan Speed: HIGH for maximum moisture removal, LOW for quieter operation. Timer: Program to turn on/off after 1-24 hours. Alerts: FILTER light indicates when to clean the air filter; BUCKET FULL light and audible alert signal when to empty the water bucket.

Operation Modes

Normal Dehumidification: Unit runs until selected humidity is reached, then cycles on/off via humidistat. Continuous Mode: Set humidity to "CONT" for constant operation (ideal for very damp spaces). Laundry Mode: Higher fan speed to help dry laundry in the same room (ensure room is enclosed).

  1. Press POWER to turn unit on.
  2. Use HUMIDITY buttons to set desired level.
  3. Select fan speed with FAN button.
  4. Unit will run until bucket is full or humidity setting is met.
  5. For unattended operation, use continuous drain hose.

Tip: In colder environments (below 65°F), frost may form on coils; the auto-defrost function will temporarily cycle the compressor off to melt frost.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Emptying the bucket: Remove bucket carefully, pour out water, and reinsert securely until it clicks.
  2. Cleaning the air filter: Remove filter every 2-4 weeks (or when FILTER light is on). Rinse under lukewarm water, let air dry completely before reinstalling.
  3. Cleaning the exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  4. Cleaning the bucket: Periodically wash bucket with mild detergent to prevent mold/mildew.
  5. End-of-season cleaning: Before storage, run unit in fan-only mode (without dehumidifying) for a few hours to dry internal components.

CAUTION! Never operate without the air filter installed. Do not immerse unit in water or pour water into any openings.

Storage Instructions

If not using for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit and empty the water bucket completely.
  2. Clean the air filter and bucket as described above. Allow all parts to dry thoroughly.
  3. Wrap the power cord and store in the cord storage area.
  4. Store the unit upright in a cool, dry place. Avoid placing heavy objects on top.
  5. Cover with a cloth or plastic bag to prevent dust accumulation.
