Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Position the unit: Allow at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Install the filter: Ensure the washable filter is securely in place.
  3. Check the bucket: Ensure the water collection bucket is correctly inserted.
  4. Plug into a grounded 115V outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded. Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C).

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set the desired humidity: Use the UP/DOWN buttons to select a level between 35% and 85%.
  2. Select fan speed: Choose between HIGH or LOW fan setting.
  3. For continuous drainage: Attach a standard garden hose (not included) to the drain port at the back.
  4. Press the POWER button to start dehumidification.

CAUTION! Always handle the unit with care. Do not tilt or turn upside down.

Connecting Drain Hose

  1. Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
  2. Remove the bucket.
  3. Connect a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose to the drain port at the back.
  4. Route the hose to a floor drain or suitable outlet. Ensure hose has a downward slope.
  5. Replace the bucket. The unit will now drain continuously.

Tip: Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked. The drain port is gravity-fed.

Operating the Dehumidifier

Designed for easy, automatic operation.

  1. Power On: Press POWER. The display will show current room humidity.
  2. Set Humidity: Use +/- buttons to select target humidity. The compressor will run until this level is reached.
  3. Select Fan Speed: Press FAN button to toggle between HIGH and LOW.
  4. Bucket Full: When the bucket is full, the unit will stop and the indicator light will turn on. Empty the bucket and reinsert to resume.
  5. Continuous Drain: If hose is connected, unit will run continuously without stopping for bucket emptying.
  6. Auto Defrost: In cooler temperatures, the unit may enter a defrost cycle automatically; this is normal.

WARNING! Do not operate without the filter or bucket properly installed. Empty bucket promptly to prevent overflow.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug the unit before any maintenance.

  1. Cleaning the Air Filter: Remove the filter every two weeks or as needed. Rinse with warm water and let air dry completely before reinstalling. Press and hold the FILTER RESET button for 3 seconds to reset the alert light.
  2. Cleaning the Bucket: Empty and clean the bucket with a mild detergent periodically to prevent mold/mildew.
  3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  4. End-of-Season Storage: Empty and dry the bucket completely. Clean the filter. Coil the drain hose (if used). Store in a dry place.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not use gasoline or solvents for cleaning.
