Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable floor.

  1. Positioning: Place at least 12 inches away from walls and furniture for proper air circulation.

  3. Continuous Drain Setup (Optional): Remove bucket, connect standard garden hose to drain port, route hose to floor drain or sink.
  4. Power Connection: Plug into a dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord.

WARNING! Do not operate in temperatures below 41°F (5°C). Ensure the room is sealed for best efficiency.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set Humidity Level: Press the HUMIDITY button to set your desired relative humidity (35% - 85%).
  2. Select Fan Speed: Choose between HIGH (faster dehumidification) or LOW (quieter operation).
  3. Timer Setup (Optional): Use the TIMER button to program automatic start/stop times.

Operation Modes

Normal Mode: Unit runs until target humidity is reached, then cycles off. Continuous Mode: Fan runs constantly regardless of humidity (press and hold FAN button for 3 sec). Laundry Mode: Optimized for drying laundry in a closed room (higher fan speed).

  1. Press POWER to turn on.
  2. Set desired humidity with HUMIDITY buttons.
  3. Select fan speed.
  4. Unit will display current room humidity and operate accordingly.

Tip: For fastest drying, close all windows and doors in the room.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Emptying the Bucket: When BUCKET FULL light comes on, remove bucket, pour out water, and reinsert firmly.
  2. Cleaning the Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks or when FILTER light is on. Rinse under warm water, let dry completely, and reinstall.
  3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. End-of-Season Cleaning: Empty and dry bucket. Run unit in FAN ONLY mode for a few hours to dry the coil before storage.

WARNING! Never operate without the filter installed. Do not tip or lay the unit on its side.

Storage Instructions

If not using for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and dry the water bucket completely.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Coil the power cord and secure it.
  5. Store in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original box.
