Installation & Placement

WARNING! Do not place in closets or confined spaces. Ensure the room temperature is above 41°F to prevent coil frost.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Install Drain Hose (Optional): For continuous drainage, attach a standard garden hose (¾”) to the drain port at the back.
  2. Set Humidity Level: Press the HUMIDITY SET button to select desired level (35% - 85%).
  3. Select Fan Speed: Choose between HIGH (faster dehumidification) or LOW (quieter operation).
  4. Check Filter: Ensure the washable filter is clean and properly installed.

WARNING! Never operate without the filter or with a wet filter. Do not immerse any part of the unit in water.

Drainage Options

Bucket Drainage: Use the removable 16-pint bucket. Empty when FULL light activates. Continuous Drainage: For unattended operation, attach a standard ¾” garden hose (not included) to the rear drain port. Ensure hose runs downward to a floor drain or sink.

Care & Storage

For long-term storage (e.g., winter):

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and clean the water bucket. Let dry.
  3. Clean the air filter and let dry.
  4. Run the unit in Fan Only mode (if available) for 30 minutes in a warm room to dry internal components.
