Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable surface.

  1. Choose Location: Place in center of room or area with high humidity, away from walls and furniture for optimal airflow.
  2. Clear Area: Ensure at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides, especially the air intake and exhaust.
  3. Check Floor: Surface must be level to ensure proper operation and water collection in bucket.
  4. Install Casters: Attach caster wheels to base if not pre-installed.
  5. Prepare Drain Option: For continuous drainage, connect standard garden hose (not included) to drain port and route to floor drain or sink.

WARNING! Do not place in an enclosed space or block airflow. Ensure power outlet is easily accessible and rated for 115V.

First-Time Setup

Plug into a grounded 115V outlet; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Insert Water Bucket: Ensure bucket is correctly seated and clicks into place.
  2. Power On: Press the POWER button. The unit will beep and the display will light up.
  3. Set Desired Humidity: Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set your target humidity level (35%-85%). The unit will cycle on/off to maintain this level.

Operation Modes

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Emptying the Bucket: When FULL light illuminates, pull bucket straight out, carry to sink, and empty. Wipe dry before reinserting.
  2. Cleaning the Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks or when FILTER light is on. Rinse under lukewarm water, let air dry completely before reinstalling. Press FILTER RESET button.
  3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  4. Cleaning the Bucket: Periodically clean bucket with mild soap and water to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. End-of-Season Care: Before storage, run unit in Fan Only mode (set humidity to lowest setting) for a few hours to dry internal components.

CAUTION! Never immerse unit in water. Do not operate without the filter.

Storage Instructions

Prepare unit for long-term storage if not in use.

  1. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
  2. Empty and thoroughly dry the water bucket.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
