Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, stable surface.

  4. Install drain hose (optional): Attach standard garden hose to continuous drain outlet for permanent drainage.

WARNING! Do not place in areas below 41°F (5°C) to prevent coil freezing. Ensure power outlet is properly grounded.

First-Time Setup

Power on dehumidifier; follow initial setup procedure.

  1. Insert water bucket: Ensure bucket is properly seated and clicks into place.
  2. Set humidistat: Press HUMIDITY button and use arrows to set desired humidity level (45-50% recommended).
  3. Select fan speed: Press FAN button to choose High or Low speed.
  4. Set timer (optional): Press TIMER to program automatic on/off schedule.
  5. Allow 24 hours: Unit may take up to 24 hours to reach optimal performance in new environment.

CAUTION! Handle water bucket carefully when full (approx. 2 gallons). Empty before moving unit.

Operation Modes

  1. Press POWER to turn unit on.

Maintenance & Cleaning

  1. Clean air filter: Remove and wash with warm, soapy water every 2-4 weeks. Dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Empty water bucket: Empty regularly to prevent overflow and mineral buildup.
  3. Clean exterior: Wipe with soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. Clean bucket: Monthly cleaning with vinegar solution to prevent mold/mildew.
  5. Reset filter indicator: Press and hold FILTER button for 3 seconds after cleaning filter.

WARNING! Always unplug unit before performing any maintenance. Never operate without air filter installed.

Draining Options

Bucket Drainage: Standard method using 2-gallon removable bucket. Continuous Drainage: Connect 5/8" ID garden hose to drain outlet (hose not included).

  1. For continuous drain: Place unit near floor drain or sink.
  2. Remove drain plug from back of unit.
  3. Attach standard garden hose (ensure secure connection).
  4. Route hose to drain with downward slope.
  5. Bucket will not fill when continuous drain is properly connected.

Note: When using continuous drain, full bucket alert will not activate. Ensure hose is not kinked or blocked.

Care & Storage

For seasonal storage or extended non-use:

  1. Unplug unit from power outlet.
  2. Empty and clean water bucket thoroughly.
  3. Clean air filter and let dry completely.
  4. Run unit in Fan Only mode for 24 hours to dry internal components.
  5. Coil power cord and store in dry location above 41°F.
  6. Cover unit to prevent dust accumulation.
