Controls and Operation

Access all functions via the electronic control panel on top of the unit.

Control Panel: POWER button, HUMIDITY SET buttons (+/-), FAN SPEED button (High/Low), TIMER button, FILTER ALERT indicator, FULL TANK indicator.

Basic Operation: Press POWER. Set desired humidity level using +/- buttons. The compressor and fan will run automatically to reach the set point, then cycle on/off to maintain it. Select fan speed for desired airflow and noise level. Use the TIMER to program automatic shut-off or start-up.

Indicators: FILTER ALERT light illuminates when the air filter needs cleaning. FULL TANK light illuminates and unit shuts off when the water bucket is full.

Drainage Options

Two methods for removing collected water: Manual via bucket or Continuous via hose.

  1. Manual Drainage (Bucket): Unit will auto-shutoff when bucket is full. Pull bucket straight out, empty, and reinsert firmly until it clicks.
  2. Continuous Drainage:
    • Turn unit off and unplug it.
    • Remove the bucket.
    • Attach a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose to the drain port at the back of the unit.
    • Route the hose to a floor drain or sink. Ensure hose has a downward slope.
    • Replace the empty bucket. The unit will now drain continuously without shutting off.

Tip: For continuous drainage, the unit must be level and the hose must not have kinks or upward loops.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Cleaning the Air Filter:

    • Remove the filter by pulling the tab on the front grille.
    • Vacuum or rinse with lukewarm water. Let air dry completely.
    • Reinstall filter and reset the FILTER ALERT light by pressing and holding the TIMER button for 3 seconds.
  2. Cleaning the Water Tank: Empty and clean monthly with a mild detergent to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.
  4. End-of-Season Care: See "Care & Storage" section.

CAUTION! Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
