Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable floor.

  1. Position the unit: Allow at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Install the filter: Ensure the washable filter is securely in place.
  3. Check the water tank: Ensure the bucket is correctly inserted and seated.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 115V AC outlet.

WARNING! Do not use an extension cord. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the dehumidifier; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to select a level (35%-85%).
  2. Select fan speed: Choose between HIGH or LOW fan setting.
  3. Set the timer (optional): Use the TIMER button to program automatic on/off cycles.

Connecting Drain Hose

For continuous operation, use the drain port.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Remove the drain port cap from the back of the unit.
  3. Connect a standard ½” inner diameter garden hose (not included). Ensure a tight fit.
  4. Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure a downward slope for gravity drainage.
  5. Plug the unit back in. The internal pump will direct water through the hose.

Tip: When using the drain hose, the water bucket should remain in place.

Operation Modes

Supports standard dehumidification and continuous drain mode.

  1. Standard Mode: Unit runs until tank is full, then shuts off and alerts you. Empty the bucket to resume.
  2. Continuous Mode: With hose connected, unit runs indefinitely, draining water automatically.
  3. Timer Mode: Set to run for a specific duration or to start/stop at a set time.
  4. Auto Mode: Unit automatically adjusts fan speed based on the humidity level.

WARNING! Always turn off and unplug the unit before removing the water tank or performing maintenance.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

Clean the Air Filter: Every 250 hours or when the FILTER alert lights up. Remove, wash with warm water and mild detergent, dry completely, and reinstall.

Empty the Water Tank: Regularly to prevent overflow and spills. Clean the tank with a mild detergent monthly.

End-of-Season Storage: Empty and clean the tank and filter. Coil the drain hose (if used). Cover the unit and store in a dry place.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before any cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not use the dehumidifier in very dusty or greasy environments without more frequent filter cleaning.
