Controls and Settings

Access all functions via the front Control Panel or included Remote Control.

Control Panel: POWER, HUMIDITY (+/-), MODE, FAN SPEED, TIMER, FILTER RESET indicator.

Remote: POWER, HUMIDITY, MODE, FAN, TIMER.

Humidity Setting: Adjust target humidity from 35% to 85% in 5% increments. The unit will cycle on/off to maintain this level.

Modes: AUTO (maintains set humidity), CONTINUOUS (runs constantly), LAUNDRY (high-speed drying for 8 hours).

Timer: Program the unit to turn ON or OFF after a delay of 1-24 hours.

Operation Modes

Select the mode best suited for your needs.

  1. AUTO Mode (Default): Unit runs until set humidity is reached, then cycles off. It restarts when humidity rises above the set point.
  2. CONTINUOUS Mode: Runs the compressor and fan continuously regardless of humidity level. Use for rapid drying.
  3. LAUNDRY Mode: Runs at maximum fan speed for 8 hours to dry laundry in a closed room, then shuts off automatically.

Tip: Use AUTO mode for energy-efficient, maintenance-free operation in living spaces.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Empty the Water Bucket: When full, the unit will beep and shut off. Pull the bucket straight out, empty it, and reinsert.
  2. Clean the Air Filter: Every two weeks, remove the filter, rinse with warm water, and let dry completely before reinstalling. Press the FILTER RESET button.
  3. Clean the Exterior: Unplug the unit. Wipe the cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals.
  4. End-of-Season Coil Cleaning: Gently vacuum the rear grille and coils to remove dust and lint.

WARNING! Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance. Never operate without the filter.

Draining Options

Two methods for water removal: Manual Bucket or Continuous Drain.

Manual Bucket: Use the included bucket. The "Bucket Full" light will illuminate and the unit will shut off when full.

Continuous Drain:

  1. Locate the drain port on the back of the unit.
  2. Remove the port plug.
  3. Connect a standard 5/8" inner diameter garden hose (not included). Ensure the hose runs downhill without kinks.
  4. The unit will now drain continuously; the bucket does not need to be in place.

CAUTION! For continuous drain, the unit must be level and the hose outlet must be lower than the drain port.

Care & Storage

If not using the dehumidifier for an extended period:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and dry the water bucket completely.
  3. Clean the air filter and let it dry.
  4. Wrap the power cord neatly.
