Installation & Placement

First-Time Setup

Operation Modes

Standard, Continuous, and Laundry Dry modes.

  1. Standard Mode: Unit runs until the set humidity is reached, then cycles on/off to maintain it.
  2. Continuous Mode: Unit runs continuously regardless of humidity setting until manually turned off or the tank is full.
  3. Laundry Dry Mode: Higher fan speed and continuous operation optimized for drying laundry in a closed room.

Tip: Use Continuous mode in very damp conditions like basements after flooding. Use Standard mode for maintaining comfort.

Water Removal & Drainage

Two methods: Manual via Water Tank or Automatic via Continuous Drain.

  1. Manual (Tank): Unit will stop and indicator light will illuminate when tank is full. Grip handle, pull tank straight out, pour water down drain, replace tank securely. Unit will resume if set to do so.
  2. Automatic (Hose): Connect a standard garden hose (not included) to the drain port at the back. Ensure hose runs downward to a floor drain or sink. Unit will drain continuously; tank does not need to be emptied.

WARNING! Do not move the unit with a full water tank. Always turn off and unplug before servicing the drain hose.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

  1. Air Filter: Clean every 2 weeks or as needed. Remove filter, rinse with lukewarm water, let dry completely, and reinstall. Press FILTER RESET.
  2. Water Tank: Clean monthly with a mild detergent and soft cloth to prevent mold/mildew. Rinse thoroughly.
  3. Exterior: Wipe cabinet with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Grill and Intake: Use a vacuum cleaner brush attachment to remove dust from exterior vents.

CAUTION! Never immerse the unit in water. Do not use harsh chemicals on the water tank.

Care & Storage

For long-term storage or when not in use for extended periods.

  1. Clean the air filter and water tank thoroughly. Allow all parts to dry completely.
  2. Run the unit in Fan Only mode (if available) for 30 minutes in a warm room to dry internal components.
  3. Empty and dry the continuous drain hose if attached.
  4. Wrap the power cord and store it.
