Specifications

Controls and Settings

Access all functions via electronic control panel. Display shows current humidity, set point, mode, and alerts.

Control Panel: POWER, MODE, HUMIDITY UP/DOWN, TIMER, FILTER RESET, TURBO.

Humidity Setting: Adjust between 35% and 85% in 5% increments. Modes: Auto (maintains set humidity), Continuous (runs constantly), Turbo (maximum dehumidification). Timer: Program 1-24 hours for automatic start/stop. Filter Reset: Press after cleaning filter to reset maintenance indicator. Turbo: Increases fan speed for faster moisture removal.

Connecting Drainage

Two drainage options: removable bucket or continuous drain hose.

  1. Bucket method: Ensure bucket is fully inserted; empty when full bucket light illuminates.
  2. Continuous drain: Attach 5/8" ID garden hose to drain port at back of unit.
  3. Route hose: Ensure hose runs downward without kinks to floor drain, sink, or sump pump.
  4. Check flow: Water should flow freely; clean hose periodically to prevent clogs.

Tip: For basement use, continuous drain is recommended to prevent frequent bucket emptying.

Operating Modes

Three operating modes for different humidity conditions.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit cycles on/off automatically to maintain set humidity level.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly regardless of humidity; use for very damp conditions.
  3. Turbo Mode: Maximum fan speed for fastest moisture removal; louder operation.
  4. Timer Function: Set unit to turn on/off at specific times for energy savings.
  5. Auto-Restart: After power outage, unit resumes previous settings automatically.

WARNING! Do not operate below 41°F (5°C) as coil may freeze. In cooler temperatures, use Auto mode and set higher humidity.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity.

  1. Clean filter every 2-4 weeks: Remove, wash with warm water and mild detergent, dry completely.
  2. Reset filter indicator: Press FILTER RESET button after cleaning.
  3. Empty and clean bucket: Use mild detergent; rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean exterior: Wipe with damp cloth; never use harsh chemicals.
  5. Check drain hose: Ensure no kinks or clogs in continuous drain setup.
  6. Off-season storage: Empty all water, clean thoroughly, and store in dry location.
