Installation & Placement

Unpack and inspect contents. Choose an appropriate location.

  1. Clear the area: Ensure at least 12-18 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  2. Level surface: Place on a flat, stable surface to prevent vibration and noise.
  3. Check power source: Ensure outlet is grounded and matches unit's voltage (115V).
  4. Install drain hose (optional): Attach standard garden hose to continuous drain port for permanent drainage.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure the unit is upright for at least 24 hours before first use if it was tilted during transport.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the unit; the control panel will illuminate.

  1. Set desired humidity: Press the HUMIDITY button to select a target level (40-60% recommended for comfort).

Connecting Drain Hose

For continuous operation without emptying the bucket.

  1. Turn off and unplug the unit.
  2. Remove the water bucket from the front of the unit.
  3. Locate the drain port at the back of the unit.
  4. Insert the provided drain cap gasket into the end of a standard garden hose (not included).
  5. Push the hose connector firmly onto the drain port until it clicks into place.
  6. Route the hose to a floor drain, sink, or sump pump. Ensure the hose runs downhill without kinks.
  7. Replace the water bucket. The unit will now drain continuously.

Tip: When using continuous drain, the bucket full indicator will not activate. Ensure the drain path is clear to prevent overflow.

Operation Modes

Supports multiple operating modes for efficiency and convenience.

  1. Automatic Mode: Default setting. Unit runs until target humidity is reached, then cycles off and monitors.
  2. Continuous Mode: Press and hold HUMIDITY down button for 3 seconds. Unit runs continuously regardless of humidity level until manually turned off.
  3. Turbo Mode: Press FAN button to select Turbo icon. Increases fan speed for faster dehumidification.
  4. Timer Mode: Set delay-off to run for a specific period (e.g., overnight). Set delay-on to start at a future time.
  5. Laundry Drying Mode: Place unit in a closed room with wet laundry. Set to Continuous or Turbo mode to accelerate drying.

WARNING! Do not operate below 41°F (5°C). Frost may form on the coils, reducing efficiency and potentially damaging the unit.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Unplug unit before any maintenance.

Daily/Weekly: Empty water bucket as needed. Wipe exterior with a soft, damp cloth.

Every 2 Weeks or when Filter Alert lights:

  1. Remove the air filter from the back grille.
  2. Vacuum loose dust or rinse under lukewarm water.
  3. Let filter air dry completely before reinstalling.
  4. Press and hold FILTER RESET button for 3 seconds to reset the alert.

End of Season Storage:

  1. Unplug the unit.
  2. Empty and clean the water bucket. Let it air dry.
  3. Clean the air filter and reinstall.
  4. Run the unit in Fan Only mode (if available) for 30 minutes to dry internal components.
  5. Coil the power cord and store the unit in a cool, dry place, preferably covered.

CAUTION! Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasives, or excessive water to clean the unit. Never immerse in water.
