Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on level, stable surface.

  1. Remove packaging materials and tape from unit.
  2. Ensure at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides for proper airflow.
  3. Place unit on a level floor to prevent water leakage.
  4. Install casters if not pre-attached (snap into base).
  5. Plug into dedicated 115V AC, 60Hz grounded outlet.

WARNING! Do not use extension cords. Ensure outlet is properly grounded. Do not place near heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on dehumidifier; follow initial setup steps.

  1. Insert water bucket securely until it clicks into place.
  2. Plug unit into electrical outlet.
  3. Press POWER button to turn on.
  4. Set desired humidity level using UP/DOWN buttons (default 50%).
  5. Select mode: Continuous, Auto, or Timer.

Connecting Drain Hose

  4. Route hose to floor drain, sink, or sump pump (downward slope required).
  5. Replace bucket (unit will not operate without bucket installed).
  6. Plug in and turn on; unit will now drain continuously.

Tip: Ensure hose is not kinked and has steady downward slope for proper drainage.

Operation Modes

Three main operating modes available.

  1. Auto Mode: Unit cycles on/off to maintain set humidity level. Recommended for most applications.
  2. Continuous Mode: Runs constantly regardless of humidity. Use for fastest moisture removal.
  3. Timer Mode: Program unit to run for specific periods (1-24 hours). Press TIMER button, then UP/DOWN to set hours.
  4. Fan Speed: Auto-adjusts based on mode; not manually selectable.
  5. Bucket Full: Unit automatically shuts off when bucket is full; indicator light illuminates.

WARNING! Do not operate below 41°F; coil may freeze. Empty bucket promptly when full.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance.

  1. Clean Filter: Remove filter every 2 weeks or when FILTER light illuminates. Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Air dry completely before reinstalling.
  2. Empty Bucket: Remove and empty water bucket as needed. Clean with mild detergent monthly.
  3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe cabinet with soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Coil Cleaning: Vacuum condenser coil annually to remove dust and lint.
  5. Off-Season Storage: Empty bucket, clean unit, wrap cord, and store in upright position in dry location.
